Grooming options

Clipping, Scissor cuts, hand-stripping and defurminating are available.

Most pets are groomed with clippers, but we also provide you the option of having your dog hand-stripped and scissor cut.

Brush and Bath

As part of our pampered pooch and deluxe services, we brush your dog, then bath and blow dry them.

We clean their ears, around their eyes and trim their nails. Also Flea Rinse is available if required.

Winter Care

Letting your dog's fur grow for winter isn't always the best way to keep them warm.

Longer fur takes longer to dry when they get wet and is harder to brush out, which can lead to matting.

Don't forget the fur between the pads on your dog's paws. If it gets too long they will find it harder to grip on tiled surfaces and can slip over and injure themselves. Also if the fur between their paws is always wet from walking on damp grass, they can get yeast infections on their feet.

Summer Care

Shaving your dog isn't always the best way to keep them cool. Some breeds rely on their fur to trap air in to provide insulation and protection from the sun.

If your dog sheds, the dead hair needs to be removed rather than cut short. Shaving a dogs belly will help in hot weather, so that if it lays on a cool surface, such as your kitchen tiles or shaded concrete, it can cool itself down.

Remember to ensure your dog always has access to water on a hot day!
